RTP and House Edge Explained
RTP (Return to Player) is a statistic that shows what percentage of bets a game returns to players over the long run. For example, if a game has an RTP of 96%, it means that on average ৳96 is returned for every ৳100 wagered — but this is not a guarantee for each session; it is the mathematical average across millions of rounds.
House Edge is the flip side of RTP. If the RTP is 96%, the house edge is 4% — that is the average amount the casino keeps. RTP varies across game categories: slot games are typically 92%-98%, blackjack is around 99%, and roulette is 94%-97%. In table games, applying the right strategy can reduce the house edge.
Volatility refers to how often and how large rewards come. In high-volatility games, rewards come less often but are larger in size; in low-volatility games, smaller rewards come more frequently. It is wise to choose volatility based on your bankroll and patience.
Knowing the RTP and volatility before starting a game helps you make informed decisions. Remember — no game guarantees a win and the outcome of every bet depends entirely on chance.
Typical RTP Ranges Across Different Games
| Game Category | Typical RTP Range |
|---|---|
| Slot Games | 92% – 98% |
| Blackjack | Around 99% |
| Roulette | 94% – 97% |
| Baccarat | 98% – 99% |
| Crash Games | 93% – 97% |
| Teen Patti | 95% – 97% |
How Betting Exchange Works
A betting exchange is different from a regular sportsbook. Here, two players bet against each other — not against the casino. The system offers two options: Back and Lay.
Back Bet
You think Bangladesh Tigers will win — so you are "Backing" them. If they win, you earn a profit based on the odds.
Example: ৳500 Back bet @ odds 2.0 → if you win, profit is ৳500; if you lose, only ৳500 is deducted.
Lay Bet
You think Bangladesh Tigers will lose or draw — so you are "Laying" them, meaning you are acting in the role of the casino.
Example: ৳500 Lay bet @ odds 2.0 → if they lose, you gain ৳500; if they win, you pay ৳500.
| Feature | Back Bet | Lay Bet |
|---|---|---|
| You want | Team to win | Team to lose or draw |
| Potential profit | Stake × (Odds – 1) | Equal to stake |
| Potential loss | Full stake | Stake × (Odds – 1) |
| Source of odds | Other players | Other players |
| Commission | Small amount on winnings | Small amount on winnings |
Exchange vs Sportsbook
In a regular sportsbook, the casino sets the odds. In an exchange, odds come from other players, so you can often get better value. The casino only takes a small commission in an exchange — the house edge is generally lower.
Loyalty & VIP Rewards Program
At 12jeez, you collect points on every bet and game. As points accumulate, your tier gets upgraded and you receive higher cashback benefits. Once you reach the Diamond tier, you also get access to a dedicated VIP manager service.

Bankroll Management Guide
Successful players do not rely on luck alone — they manage their budget wisely. Bankroll management means dividing your gaming budget in a disciplined way so that one bad session does not affect your overall finances.
Core Principles
- Set a gaming budget — only spend money you can afford to lose. Keep it separate from your living expenses.
- Divide into sessions — split your total budget into smaller sessions. Spending your entire budget in one session is not a wise approach.
- 1–5% per bet rule — not spending more than 1% to 5% of your total bankroll on each bet gives you the opportunity to play over the long term.
- Stop after winning — set a target. Once you reach that amount, end the session — do not lose it all by giving in to greed.
- Stop after losing — if you have lost 50% of your session budget, take a break. Avoid the risk of losing even more by trying to recover your losses.
- Track your history — keep a record of your deposits, withdrawals, and session results. This will help you make informed decisions.
Remember — gaming is for entertainment, not income. Disciplined bankroll management keeps gaming enjoyable.
Never gamble with borrowed money or by dipping into your savings. If you notice signs of gaming addiction, contact our support team immediately.
